South Alps: Senjoudake & Kaikomagatake ***+

Trip by Andy Duggan. Pics from Gareth Eastwood and Patrick Deblaise Went on a late train to Kofu Saturday night and took a midnight taxi to Yashatoge where there is a gate (locked at night). Got a few hours sleep before the first bus went through to Hirogawara at 0530. From there up to Kitazawatoge (2100m) on a mini bus.
Sunday up Senjoudake and back down to Kitazawa and into the forest for the night.
Very late start 0930 up Kaikomagatake and along the ridge (really nice path) down to Oshirozawa at 1800. Taxi to the station.
